Syd Mead is the "maestro" of a particular futurist vision of life, graduated from Art Center College of Design he marked very quickly his spirit of mind about what is creative design applied to everyday life. How things could change? What type of benefits we could receive from future technologies, how to inspire engineers and designers to work for a better and more confortable world? After years of experience in the world of car design he started to influence the film industry and films like "Blade runner, Aliens" came to cinemas making everybody dream about new transportation systems, architectures and technologies.Here an interesting article appeared on Motor Trends written by Arthur St Antoine about the artist that starts like this:"If you loved the flying cars and pulsating streets in "Blade Runner," you can thank Syd Mead.
