Jason at his Fall 2008 Final presentation at CCSJason Ho is aTransportation Design student at CCS in Detroit, (by the way CCS is the excellent school run by the Dean Imre Molnar a great designer and man of culture) Jason started in 2007 and will graduate in May 2011.
Currently his teacher, Scott Anderson from Chrysler Group, gave an interesting project (here some sketches by Jason).
Jason explaines to us a bit about this project: "For our assignment, we needed to come up with a product based vehicle. My concept was a 4 wheel dirt vehicle based on Motocross helmets. This is one sketch out of 40 in total, and they were all done on newsprint. I use newprint and prismacolor pencil as my preferred mediums because of the line sensitivity that can be easily achieved. The concept rendering was done in 30 minutes using quick Photoshop lighting techniques over the initial sketch."
I find it really interesting, Jason shows to have a good talent that needs to become more mature it is evident that he works hard on it an that his work is improving sketch by sketch.
